Your deposit reserves your pick of a kitten. Your place in this pick is determined by the order in which we receive deposits and your choice of color and sex. This deposit is non-refundable. Should your choice not be available in a given litter, another color/sex may be offered, if available, or you may choose to have your name moved to a later breeding. If kitten is being shipped, all fees related to shipping and kitten purchase must be received at least ten days prior to being shipped. Shipping related fees are subject to change.

Great efforts have been made to ensure that your kitten is healthy and genetically sound. It will have been examined by a veterinarian prior to leaving Alabaster Cattery. The parents are free of genetic conditions insofar as can be known. All breeding cats are tested for FeLV and FIV, and they are negative. There is no diagnostic test for FIP. Before leaving the cattery your kitten will have received first shots and will be wormed. We will provide you with a health record of the dates and type of vaccines and wormers given. All new pet kitten buyers receive kitten care instructions and we will be available to answer questions ongoing.

Buyers shall agree to take new kittens to a veterinarian of their choice within three business days of adoption, for a well-kitten exam. If at the time of this exam, in the rare instance that your cat has been deemed by a veterinarian to have a serious genetic or congenital defect that cannot be rectified, you must notify Alabaster Cattery by the day following the exam and provide a veterinarian’s statement and a written request for a replacement kitten. Return of the kitten is the responsibility of the buyer but must be done within three days from the exam. Alabaster Cattery accepts no responsibility for veterinary expenses after the kitten has left our cattery. The replacement kitten will be reserved from the next available litter that would produce kittens meeting the description of the original. Should you desire a different color or sex, it is solely at the discretion of Alabaster Cattery. In the event of a claim for a replacement kitten, Alabaster Cattery reserves the right to have our veterinarian examine the kitten and review any and all health or exam records, to include x-rays or other diagnostic tests. Declawing a cat without the express written permission of Alabaster Cattery will void this contract. This agreement does not cover any kitten that has been injured, abused, neglected, or in the case that care or ownership has been transferred. Should you choose to keep the kitten, no replacement will be made.

Policy Statement: Alabaster Cattery kittens will not be registered until they are proven to be spayed or neutered, unless breeding rights are agreed to at time of purchase. If, at any time during the cat's life span, the buyer cannot keep the cat, Alabaster Cattery will accept it back (no refund) or assist buyer in finding it a new home, providing it is in good health as shown by a recent veterinarian's exam and health certificate. Alabaster Cattery kittens will not be sold to any buyer who intends to allow the kitten to roam free outdoors; they are born and bred to be kept indoors for their lifetimes.
